I'm not too sure on how MSI Afterburner handles things, but as I understand it is closer in nature to the older versions of EVGA Precision with RivaTuner Statistics Server being a side application that feeds data to it rather than being built in. I know EVGA Precision XOC unfortunately has RivaTuner Statistics Server built in (unlike older Precision versions where it's seperate) so that fix won't work if you're using Precision XOC. What I did to allow me to keep open my EVGA Precision X 4.2.1 for the other benefits is went into RivaTuner Statistics Server and turned "Application Detection Level" to "None" which prevents it from hooking into the renderer. Using MSI Afterburner along with Riva Tuner Statistics Server Overlay is an amazingly excellent tool for seeing how your system is performing in real time, from CPU utilization to frame times its.
#Riva tuner statistics server update or keep msi software#
The issue is specifically when it hooks into the renderer to detect framerate and frametime information. RivaTuner is still aroundwhile the main RivaTuner software is unmaintained (although nothing technically stops you from using it), RivaTuner Statistics Server, a frame rate and hardware monitor tool that was originally a companion to the main RivaTuner tool, is still actively maintained, and even ships with the MSI Afterburner installer. Hi, yes I posted this a bit back on reddit when the game launched for early access. RivaTuner stats Server this app cant run on this pc. I would like to be able to set a consistent fps limit above 60 fps but below 120 fps.Īny information or workarounds is much appreciated! I know currently MSI Afterburner (RivaTuner Statistics Server) still doesn't work with Forza Horizon 4.īut I am posting this if anyone potentially finds any information or solutions to get this to work.
